I have a sony handycam of these old 8mm, I think it is, and I would like to convert all my tapes to DVD. Any recommendations for this? Any program that is facilitated? I have no idea if this can be done and how

I solved by buying a video capture program, a Pinnacle (see that there are three models). With it, I have transferred more than 30 of 8mm tapes to DVD, including tape recordings in which it has a total of 3 hours and fit perfectly to dvix.
The latter option also gives you this acquisition. There are tastes for everything that some say is a heavy move, and not lack reason, but I have 1024 of ram and 128 of graphics card is perfectly in a W-XP.
Well there are such DVD players/recorders like this one-
LG DVD player recorder / DivX DR385
TV Video> DVD players / recorders> Players / DVD Recorders
With such DVD players, all you have to do is connect the camera to DVD and give it to burn.
Well one thing that I forgot, this is what I have done with digital cameras from Sony 8MM, and I say this because I also have handycam of 94 model that could not do this. At least the camera has to be a bit modern for you to recognize the acquisition.
Before buying any such thing, ask in the store for compatibility of connections otherwise it will not serve your purpose.
