    Outlook 2007 Proofing autocorrect

my outlook 2007 proofing autocorrect does not correct every two to three letter to the word specified in my autocorrect file. some get corrected as a typing macro that I use some do not. How can I make it work for every two or three letter autocorrect macro? I have both Word and outlook 2007 loaded onto my PC.

I think that if you click on the Office button and then Editor Options, and go into Proofing, are the proofing features switched on? The ribbon only exists for Outlook items, not the main window of Outlook. If you open a new message, click the Office button, then editor options, then proofing, you should see what I was referring to.
