Remove or Recover Excel 2007 Password

A friend of mine had set a password on my valuable document. I was unaware of that and he is not here right now with me. He left for vacations with his family. So I am unable to contact him anyway. I need that file. So is there any possibility for me to remove that password or change it?

Any freeware or shareware will also do?

But that is for only Excel 2003 - 95 documents and not for Excel 2007.
