I use DVD Slideshow Buidler which helps me to create dvd photo slideshow and home movies with my own photos, video and music and burn HDDVD/DVD/VCD directly.

If you are good at PowerPoint, you can make a PowerePoint photo album and then convert it to DVD with Wondershare PPT2DVD.
After this you can view album on DVD player.
