I want to convert a DVD in DivX format, because its software with the divx player but my converter convert into real player format and the problem is that its not happening in my editing software, so I just ask you if I can convert my dvd in DivX format winamp and if so how.

divx player is not a format but a reader
winamp is not a format but a reader
DivX can be read on any drive that you can install codecs decompression or that you use VLC with which you do not need to re-install anything
fairuse you can use to convert DVD to DivX software is fairly simple to use
