Destination folder access denied while downloading!

    Hi,
While downloading/saving anything am getting the warning as "Destination Folder Access Denied" it happens when i try to download avything.
I'm also getting the "Windows needs administrator permission" warning. I am the administrator. I am the only user on this computer and my account is the only user account, and it is set up as the administrator. Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Hi Ernest
Where are you trying to download/save the files?

Specifically to my desktop folder, but I have tried other folders and can't access anything.

Hi Ernest go to C:\Users folder. Right click on the C:\Users folder and, click on the Security tab, click on Administrators (computer name) to see in the bottom pane and see if the Administrators (computer name) group is showing that it has Full control allowed for the C:\Users or not.

No it still wants administrator permission. Windows says it needs admin permission, but not asking me for my admin password, and also not tells me how to grant admin permission.

    Ok now try this

    Open a coomand prompt
In the command prompt copy and paste the below command:

    attrib -r -a -s /S /D /L

Press Enter. This will remove any system attributes placed on your user folders. Try if it will let you save to the desktop or another user folder or not.

    keep inform.
