Remove large files: increase performance?

Hello

I am currently running Windows XP 2002 with a capacity of 2.8 GHz and a 120 GB hd I currently have a lot of movies I put on my computer 13.4 GB and by removing all the videos, my computer gain in performance, go faster or anything else that would benefit or when it will change anything.

No, no real relationship between the storage disc and performance of the bone.

then what can make your machine more fluid is the use of RAM, unless it is used, the better (well, this is the case for me).

When files are stored on disk, windows usually doesn't look at them at all until you require it. So, you can have as many files as you want, it probably won't influence it a bit. It is only important to leave at least 1-2GB free, so windows could use it for it's processes, and it's recommended always to keep at least 5GB in case you need free space instantly.
