I have MSN messenger and I am running Windows Vista on my computer. I am having issues with my messenger. Whenever I try and sign in it gives me an error message the error code 81000306. What does that mean? Please help me?
Solutions:
- Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
- Just check if there is any service issue
- Clear the proxy settings in MSN Messenger.
- Start Messenger.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click Connection in the left navigation pane.
- Click Advanced Settings in the Connection Settings section.
- Delete the content of the SOCKS field.
- Click OK two times to save the settings.
- If you are using Windows Vista, disable the Auto Tuning Networking feature:
- Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
- Click Continue when Windows requests permission to continue.
- At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
NOTE: If you are still unable to sign into Messenger then please re-enable that feature again using the below codeCode:netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
