    1. Open the presentation or while still in your presentation
    2. Click on the Insert menu, point to Movies and Sounds, then do one of the following:
    • Click Sound from File, search for and select the sound file and/or Track#. Click OK. A small speaker icon appears on the slide. Click Yes for sound to begin playing automatically in the slide show.
    • Click Sound from Clip Organizer, search for and select the Sound Clip. A small speaker icon appears on the slide. Click Yes for sound to begin playing automatically in the slide show.
    • Click Play CD Audio Track; select the Start and End Time and Track. A small speaker icon appears on the slide. Click Yes for sound to begin playing automatically in the slide show.

    3. Important: To adjust the settings for the sound file, right-click on the sound icon. On the pop-up menu select Custom Animation.
    4. Click the down arrow next to sound file/track you selected. Choose Effect Options.
    5. In the Play Sound dialog box under the Effect tab Start Playing: place a dot next to From beginning. Stop playing: place a dot next to After and put the number for the last slide in your presentation.
    6. Click on the Timing Tab. Select the down arrow next to Start and select With Previous. Select the down arrow next to Repeat and choose Until End of Slide. Click OK.

    1. Go to Insert – Movies and Sounds – Play CD Audio Track
    2. Specify the Track and Timing information for the beginning and ending of your selection. (Note: You can have this play continuously over a number of slides. If you use a separate selection on each page you will not have continuous music play throughout the entire presentation.)
    3. This will create a CD icon on the current slide you are viewing. If you do not wish to see the CD icon, you can click and hold it and drag it off the slide. It will still play, you just won’t see it.
    4. If you need to edit these settings afterwards, click your right mouse button over the CD icon and choose Edit Sound Object.
    5. Put a check in the Loop until stopped box if you want the track to play continuously.
    6. Once you have chosen the track you want, click OK and the following message will appear.
    7. Click Yes if you want the music to play automatically.
    8. Go to Slide Show – Custom Animation. The Multimedia Settings tab should be selected. You may set your animation order and decide how you want the music to play on the slide show.
    9. Select Continue Slide Show if you want the music to play throughout the entire presentation. You will then need to change the Stop playing option to After. Select more slides than the number of slides in your presentation.
    10. Click OK
