    windows - no disk exception processing message c0000013 parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c

Im getting this error after I uninstalled Norton 2005 yesterday. It only appears when I start Media Center. My computer is HP Media Center PC m7248n. After I start Medai Center I get this error and my Media Center refuses to close. After reading some forums I tried a couple things. I used the Norton Uninstal tool and ran my anti virus and spyware. Still getting the problem. One thing I havnt tried is changing my drive letter assignments because Im not sure how to do that. If anyone could help me out with any more remedys with this or take me through the steps of changing my drive letters I'd be most appreciative. Thanks.

Just to make it clear I have this error on Windows Home Premium 64-Bit operating system, this is HP a6767c desktop. The error message is as follows

    Windows - No Disk
    Exception Processing Message 0xc0000013 Parameters
    0x000007FEFDB57240 0x0000000000000004 0x000007FEFDB57240
    0X000007FEFDB57240

The fix was open msconfig in the service tab uncheck
    HP Health Check Service

Since I have done this my error message has stop.

Your Windows No Disk error is often associated with the qttask.exe process at startup.
    • Click Start, Run, type msconfig and click ok.
    • On the general tab, tick 'selective startup', and on the startup tab, find qttask and untick the box next to it.
    • Click apply, click ok, and reboot when prompted.

I'm willing to guess it is being caused by a program called dit.exe which is installed by some card reader software to allow you to name the drives and for them to have individual icons.

It runs on startup and is a pretty much useless process.

Initially you should test to see if it is causing you problems.

Run msconfig and if it appears in your startup list disable it and restart

if that solves your problem then delete dit.exe from your windows folder (you can also get rid of dit.dll, dit.ini and ditxp.exe)

You should now do a registry sweep to get rid of any dit.exe entries

Hope that fixes the problem for you

BINGO...I have the solution to this Windows NO DOSK Message. AT least it worked or me just fine. It was easy and fast. No messing around with changing the Drive letters. I downloaded and installed a code line to my registry. Painless and effective. Here is the URL to read about it. Man am I glad that's over with. Copy and paste this line to your browser: http://www.consumingexperience.com/2...rocessing.html. Then scroll down to LAST RESORT. There you will see a blue hyperlink to STOP WINDOWS NO DISK ERROR MESSAGE. Click on it and install it. BINGO!
