    Problems with Access Files

Hello. I have a problem with Access 2007. I have a database of customers which was created with Access 2003, but the company we have updated and we use the past to 2007, along with new equipment (xp professional). The fact is that since we changed teams, the shortcuts or the original file can open it with the new access. We can only access the database separately if we open the Access 2007 and choose to open recent documents.

Do you know any solution to the problem? This happens in all the PCs in the office with SP2 and SP3.

    Thanks and regards.

I imagine it will be the subject of the new suite 2007 needs to import files from earlier versions, rather than opening them.

Open it as you say, either from a PC. Then you saved in Access 2007 on that server to which we all agree, delete the shortcuts in all the old PCs and create new ones. That should work. However, if you are a PC with an old Access can not open the database.

    Greetings .

    hi,

I had the same problem, we tried something what Una said. We had to install Office 2007 on all machines (and even change some more, but paid the head ...)
