    question Sound has an echo

    Strange problem.
Desktop operating great for several weeks after a total reinstall of Win XP Home with SP-3 then the sound (on the MB and Asus A7V400-MX, 2 GB DDR) begins to have an echo regardless of what source we use (tried CD, streaming audio, WAV files on HDD). Can't figure out what to do except to install PCI sound card. ANY IDEAS???

Download the drivers for the soundcard from the manufacturers website and install them in your computer.
