sad how to tell if Windows is OEM or retail

We are doing an audit of all our software and we need to know how many copies of OEM windows we have and how many retails ones, does anyone know how to tell what is acutally installed on a pc?

Right-click on My Computer and select Properties. On General Tab, under “Registered to:” you can see a product ID (divided into 4 groups of characters separated by hyphens). On an OEM installation, the 2nd group of characters is always OEM whereas on a Retail installation, you will see numbers (such 623).

You can also see whether the systems are from some big PC makers (such as HP, DELL, etc), by seeing the product logo and the words Manufactured and supported by followed by the name of the company who built the PC.
