0xc000007B Error - Application failed to initialised

Hi..
whenever i try to open some of the applications on my PC, i get this error message & asks me to terminate the program. Now i dont know how to surf web since it wont allow me to use internet explorer.
What is the problem & how to solve this?

According to me this error message is due to "WORM_KLEZ.E virus" executable file name [xxx].exe may vary. Run norton antivirus or macafee antivirus and check ur comp for viruses...

try a windows repair using the setup cd

I have already scanned my computer but there is no virus found.
I have norton.

My be your automatic windows update is off, turn this feature on, update your product Or before this just try to move your syatem setting to "last known good configuration", you can also try system restore feature.
If all above wont solve your problem then take back up of all your files & reinstall Or repair windows again.
