wscript.exe - what is this?

Hello friends!
I have a problem when i double click on my C: or D: drive it wont open. i have to navigate this drives through droup down boxes or view the drives directory. I have windows XP sp2 installed. How to solve this problem? because whenever i try to continuesly double click on th partition wscript.exe starts on the task bar & slow downs my PC.
Any solution?

Thanks but the "VBS file" is not there to delete it.
