To run Windows on a Mac, two solutions are possible. The partition dedicated to take full advantage of the physical performance of the machine but requires a restart. The virtualization software gives users the freedom to use operating systems Mac OS X and Windows simultaneously virtualisant the latter on a single machine. In the latter scenario, two major solutions fought the market: Parallels Desktop and VMWare Fusion. The debate began to intensify as VMWare has to make available for downloading VMWare Fusion 2.0 beta 2.
On the menu, several innovations including a better symbiosis of the two operating systems. Unity 2.0 can open your Mac files directly from Windows. In addition, the content of your primary records (My Documents, My Music ....) will be reflected from one system to another for ease of management. On the security front, VMware can now create, manage or automate several images discs to easily restore your copy of Windows at a given state. For this second beta, the team VMWare has also looked at the overall performance of the software and its ergonomics including better care of 3D while appeasing the CPU and a more responsive interface or the possibility using four virtual CPU.
Recall that VMWare 2.0 will be a free update for users of the first version of software.
