Vista or XP? pro or home ? help!

im going for a new build im going to oder a new rig this Thursday, just now i got all the things clear for my rig ram 2GB, its Core 2 duo 2.10ghz, 500 GB Hard Drive, NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GS, im just got stuck in operating system which to get vista or XP second which one in vista and Xp in home or pro please i need your adivce on this guys fast because i need to be conform by Wednesday

i think you should go with vista

i think you should go with XP cause it doesnt suffer from compatability issues like vista does

XP is the best because its user friendly , while vista has many securities loopholes
