How to copy mobile phonebook to PC

I am using Windows XP. I have Nokia phone & my sis has Motorola.
How do I copy my phone contacts onto my computer?
I installed the software supplied with the phone, but I don't see any way to simply copy all my contacts so I have a backup on my computer.

You must be having copy contact option with your phone. & transfer your contacts to Your computer. I don't know why is it difficult for you?

You can sink your phone with microsoft outlook & copy youe phone contacts.

Actually i never used Outlook tried to sink but no luck.
Anymore ideas?

Windows address book is in Start > Accessories > Address Book
You can use this to put your phonebook contacts.

Try to mention the model number of mobile phone which you are using. It will be better then to assist. There are different application and methods based on different model. The first is to find a appropriate application for backup. Or else you can go on the below list which is offered by Motorola. You have to open up a website from your phone and follow the procedure.
