open ftp site in internet explorer

    Hi,
We have a customer running SBS 2003 Premium R2 and ISA2006 configured.
Internet 7 is installed on server and all clients.
No problems in opening ftp site that allow anonimous login (eg.
    ftp.microsoft.com).
Trying to open a remote ftp site that require user and pwd (eg.
ftp://ftpsite.it), when I click on "Open ftp site in Internet Explorer", I
    receive immediatly the error
"Unable to view this ftp site in Explorer" and I can't find "Logon as ..."
in the File menu. In Internet Options > advanced > "Active ftp site view in
    folder" is checked.
We have the same problem both on server and clients (XP PRO SP2).
We have customers with Win server 2003 R2 (NO SBS) and ISA2006 installed and
we have no problem with ftp.

Thanks a lot in advance for any help.
    Stefania

I use Windows Explorer for this, and with this you can click File - Login As
to log in as a specific user. I can't see how you Login As in IE7 either.

Re: open ftp site in internet explorer

    Hi Jay,
In IE7 when you try to open a ftp site that require user+pwd, you receive an
error due to the anonimous login. At this point if you search in the Page
menu of IE7, you will find a new line "Open ftp site in Internet Explorer" .
If you click that you will be redirect to a new Windows Explorer window,
you'll receive another error regarding anonimous access and then you normally
will view a different File menu, containing "Login As".
My problem is that I can't click on Login As because there is not such
function in the file menu and I receive the error "Unable to view this ftp
    site in windows Explorer".
It's the same if I try to open that ftp site directly from Windows Explorer.
