Install Server 2008 without a DVD Drive?

Hello Roland,

Boot the machine with a network boot disk, map to a share where the installation
disk is copied to and start setup on that way.

Roland,
booting from a WinPE 2.0 disk to connect to a network share or directly from
a USB-key (assuming you have one with sufficient capacity and USB-bootable
system) are two possibilities - for mass deployments, look into Windows
Deployment Services or System Center Configuration Manager.
The former methods are probably better documented in regard to Vista
installs - the latter are described in details on the MS Web site...
