windows web server 2008 activation

Hello

I downloaded the Windows Web Server 2008 from MSDN and installed it.
Now i would like to active it - unfortunatly i get an error message:

A problem occurred when Windows tried to activate. Error Code 0x8007232B.
For a possible resolution, click More Information.
Contact your system administratior or technical support department for
assistance.

More Information says -> Code: 0x8007232B, Description: DNS name does not
exists.

I checked the internet connection and DNS settings of my server, everything
is working fine. I can open webpages in IE7 without any problem.

Berni,
sounds like you are using with a Volume Licensing instance - for which you
need a KMS server. Try using the MAK instead...
