Permissions on folder redirection and My Documents

I have a windows 2003 server with serveral desktops, I'm using the folder
redirection in group policy to store the my documents folder on a share
\\users\home\%name%. The redirection is working fine but the managment wants
access to everyones My documents folders on the server I have added them to
the root users share with full control but the permisions seem to stop at the
my documnets folder with access denied. Can anyone shed some light on how I
can give them full control of all folders under the users share?

    Thanks,

    Brian

You do not use "Share" permissions to control permissions to NTFS folders.
All you need to do to the Share is make sure Everyone=FULL. That's all you
need. Then you apply the Managers group at the Home level and give them
Modify access and make sure the permissions are inherited to all child
    objects.

OK I just tried what you suggested and got access denied on each of the users
My documents folder. Here is what i did. I created a group called Managers
and added the appropriate members. I went to the users folder and went to
security and added them with modify permissions. I hit the advanced tab and
checked the box to apply to objects to sub folders and when it was applying
the permissions i got errors on every My documents folder Access is denied.

    Help !!!

    Permission

Have you on your security tab, clicked on advanced and then take ownership? You can even click on the advanced tab, permissions, add your username or everyone, replace from object to child, ofcourse if your share has everyone and your user ID full access or modify.
Correct me if its not that what you are asking for.
