system error 6118 has occurred

Hi to All,
My windows XP\2000 professional machine displays this message whenever I try
to access the network(through My Network places).
" The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available".

In windows 98 not facing any problem. Please help me to fix this issue.

It could be master browser issue. This search result may help,
