Buffer overrun detected!

I have a windows 2000 sp4 servers, my problem is that I got the below error:
"Buffer overrun detected!
Program: C:\program files\symantec antivirus\rtvscan.exe
A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted program's internal
state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must noe be
terminated."
Then a file called "U.exe" created under C:\ and the server restarts with a
message that the server will restart in 60 seconds and the counter decreased
to be 0 then restart, the problem is that my network desktop's are also
infected.
I don't know is it a virus or a spyware, please I need a quick solution.

This is most likely a NAV problem, not a Windows problem. Try
the Symantec FAQs or write a note to the Symantec helpdeskl.
