W3CTR Event ID 2001 and 2003

W3CTR Event ID 2001 and 2003

Win 2003 Server with all updates. I get these two everyday. I have looked
at the KB and googled and have not been able to find anything that is
relevant to these errors. Can anyone please tell me how to fix it so that
these errors stop?

Time: 2:30:30 AM

Computer: WIN2003-HOME
Description:
It has taken too long to refresh the W3SVC counters, the stale counters are
being used instead.

Date: 3/4/2007
Time: 2:45:47 AM

Description:
It has taken too long to refresh the W3SVC counters, the stale counters are
being used instead. This is the second message within the past 12:00:00
(hours, minutes, seconds). No more stale counter messages will be logged
for this client session until the time limit expires.

I gave it a whirl even though the article says it is for Windows 2000 and I
am running Windows 2003. I will watch the event logs and see what happens.

Unfortunately that did not help.

I am trying

I am also thinking about stopping w3svc and see what happens.
