    Move Shadow Copy Location

Windows Server 2003 SP1. I would like to move the location of our shadow
copies since we have added new disk to our server. Can someone point me to
the procedure for this? I understand that all of our current shadow copies
will have to be deleted, it this true? And how do we do this?

    Thank you.

    RE: Move Shadow Copy Location

    hi,
If you move the shadow copy location once shadow copies have already been
enabled for the volume, all of the existing shadow copies for that volume
will be lost. For example, if you have shadow copies enabled for drive F, and
you decide that you want to move the copies to drive Q, then all of the
shadow copies that currently exist for drive F will be lost during the move.

open the Disk Management console by entering the DISKMGMT.MSC command at the
Run prompt. When the Disk Management console opens, right-click on the volume
for which you want to enable shadow copies and select the Properties command
from the resulting shortcut menu. Select Shadow Copies tab.
Select the volume and click settings and choose another storeage area
