Help - I feel so stupid -
I accidently deleted a default setting in exchange that caused exchange to
stop working. I could not figure out how to fix, so I restored the "system
state" from a most recent backup. Exchange is working now, but no one can
login in the network. (they can get mail via the web)
The server is not giving out rights to users logging. I can login to each
client machine as an administrator and see the network respources.
I have a windows 2003 server with exchange 2003. - It is the only domain
controler on the network. I have eliminated many of the errors from the log
and I think I have narrowed down the problem. File Replication Services
generates 2 errors when startign (13555 and 13552). When I run FRSDiag I get
4 erros:
1126: Active Directory was unable to establish a connection with the global
catalog
ERROR: Junction Point missing on "c:\windows\sysvol\sysvol"
ERROR : Cannot access SYSVOL share on ARC0493
ERROR : Cannot access NETLOGON share on ARC0493
SYSVOL and NETLOGON are not listed when I run a "net share" command. I have
marked them to share, but it does not hold. I found KB327781 that suggests
a fix using dcgpofix. That give an error about not being able to access the
SYSVOL.
Help - any suggestions would be apperciated.
