    Disk Management Problem

    Hi Everybody,

    I have 2 x366 W2k3 Ent. Server and IBM Totalstorage DS4300, Qlogic 23xx
    Fiber Cards
My problem is when i click re-scan disk from disk management many same disk
    be there, For example

    Q: Quorum - 2GB Basic
    X disk -2GB Unavaliable
    X disk -2GB Unavaliable

    S: Data -100GB
    X disk -100GB
    X disk -100Gb
    ..
    ..
    ..

Update Fiber cards driver but it doesnt work correctly again.
    What is my Problem?

    Re: Disk Management Problem

Are you doing this on both nodes in a 2 node cluster at nearly the same
time? Microsoft clustering only allows one node at a time to control a disk,
what you are seeing is normal and expected behavior.

    Re: Disk Management Problem

That event ID 59 you are seeing is indicative of a problem with your
multipathing software configuration. In 2003, we added logic to detect if we
were seeing the same LUN down a different path. This all is "supposed" to be
hidden from the OS by the MP driver.
