Event Viewer and a spoolsv.exe error

I would like to be immediatly notified when a specific error appears in the
event log.

Specifically, it is "Reporting queued error: faulting application
spoolsv.exe" as this is a precursor to the system hanging (by 10-20 minutes).

Yes, I know we have a non-terminal services print driver out there, but
fixing that is someone elses responsibility and progress is slow.

The only development tools I have are MKS Toolkit, so if you can tell me the
location of the data file Event Viewer reads and how to read it myself, I can
write a script.

Take a look at www.netikus.net and the product event watch. I believe the
light version is free.
