Event ID 32 - write cache enabled

I'm running Windows Server 2003 SBS with an Adaptec 2100S SCSI RAID card. I
get the following message after each boot:

    Source: Disk
    Catagory: None
    Event ID: 32
The driver detected that the device \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 has its write
cache enabled. Data corruption may occur.

I can't determine if this is something I should be worried about or just
ignore. Is Windows just whining because the write cache is enabled on a
domain controller? Or is this message being generated by the Adaptec driver?
I would really appreciate any advice as I can't find any information about
this error on either Adaptec's or Microsoft's websites.

Re: Event ID 32 - write cache enabled

Thanks for the information. I noticed that there is a similar message in the
    Directory Services event log:

The local domain controller could not disable the software-based disk write
cache on the following hard disk.
    Hard disk:
    c:
Data might be lost during system failures.

So, it does appear the Windows is attemtping the disable the write cache,
which would make sense according to the link you sent me.
