| Error 0x8007005: Access is denied
Everything appears to be fine until the add node wizard attempts to start the clusterDisk service and save settings. I have several 4 node clusters (same specs as the ones I'm attempting to add) already built in this domain and attached to a different Clariion. Windows 2003 Enterprise Service Pack 1, Dell 6850 Servers, EMC Clariion storage. All servers are in the same OU with the same group policy settings applied as the existing clusters. All perms and rights appear correct. I've tried removing all the share disks (except quorum drive) from the storage group. I've tried adding different nodes to the exisiting cluster one at a time. I've tried running the wizard as domain admin, local admin, and cluster service account. Get this error everytime: Error 0x8007005: Access is denied Any suggestions welcome. I came across this one http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816731/en-us Perhaps this helps? Thanks for the reply. Although the error would appear to be permissions related, I have tried running the cluster wizard as both a domain admin and local admin. The cluster service account is the same account that I am using on my existing production clusters in the same domain. |

Look for a Group Policy Object that might be blocking the install. Cheers, Rodney R.
