Using Ldifde.exe

Hi ,
I would like to use the ldifde.exe utility because it is nice way to
modify bulk entries in AD, but whenever i run the utility on my command line
i get an error msg ..... "ldifde.exe' is not recognized as an internal or
external command,
operable program or batch file."

Do i have to install a plug-in to use .. this utility please advise ..

RE: Using Ldifde.exe

You need to install Support Tools (from Windows server CD) OR Download it
from MS web site. LDIFDE.EXE tool is included with it.
You can also copy it from other server and use it...

Hi,

Correct, Ldifde.exe is not in the Win2k3 Support Tools. It is located
in the C:\Windows\System32\ folder on all Win2k3 servers. Just copy
the file over to your computer (e.g. to the System32 folder so it is
in the path).
