NLB - Could not read configuration of interface error 0x80041002

Hi Everybody.

I need your help with this problem. I´m trying to configue a NLB Cluster
with Two Windows 2003 Web Edition.

Here is what i´m doing:

I open Nlb Manager and click Cluser / New --> I put all the information from
the cluster : IP 10.250.100.100 / 24 - Unicast and the Full Name.

I pass the other configurations and put the ip address of the host to
connect...then i receive the following message:

could not read configuration of interface {xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx} error 0x80041002

Why this happen? What am i doing wrong?

My server has two nic´s but i´m just using one. What should i do to this work?

hi maurit!

best you don´t configure the nlb cluster when using unicast mode with the
nlb manager, but enter the nlb config settings directly on the interfaces on
both web edition devices. you can find the nlb settings within network
settings - network adapter - network load balancing. don´t forget after
setting all the data, to include the cluster ip in the ip settings as a
secondary ip address on all nodes.
