Thread: Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

I receive this error whenever I try to connect to a windows 2000 cluster
using the cluster admin tool. I have the correct access and can bring it up
on other servers within the same domain. The error id is 1130. I modified
the IRPStackSize value without success. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

I receive this error when trying to access from the command line:

    C:\>cluster /cluster:xx-cl2 /prop

System error 1130 has occurred (0x0000046a).
Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

Re: Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

Can you administer the cluster when logged onto one of the cluster nodes
    itself?

Your NTLM authentication settings are probably out of whack.
post the contents of the following registry key from the W2K cluster nodes.
    MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\LmCompatibilityLevel

    MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0\NTLMMinClientSec
    MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0\NTLMMinServerSec

Post the contents of the following key from the system you use cluster
    administrator on.
    MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\LmCompatibilityLevel

    MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0\NTLMMinClientSec
    MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0\NTLMMinServerSec

Please post the same three keys from a cluster (node) that you can access
    from this XP system.

Re: Not enough server storage is available to process this command

    Glenn,
I cannot access the node from my XP Pro machine.

    Registry settings:

I can access it from within the cluster (either node)

Registry settings (both nodes have the same settings):

    Cluster node(s) settings

A machine that is not in the cluster (Windows 2003 member server) i can
access the cluster using Cluster Admin.

    Registry settings:

    W2K3 member server registry settings

This whole this has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Not enough server storage is available to process this command

Set your XP box to the following.
    MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\LmCompatibilityLevel = 2
    Reboot your box.
go back into the registry, and verify it did not get set back to 0.
Then see if you can access the cluster through cluster admin.

Re: Not enough server storage is available to process this command

Try installing SP1 for windows server 2003. i had the same issue on my dell
file and print server. i found a specific article from dell that said the
issue occurs on cluster servers. i struggled trying to fix this problem for
about 2 months but i installed SP1 over the weekend and my problem is gone.
Make sure you check to see if all your software is compatible with SP1 before
    installing it.
