Server 2003 to Server 2008 R2

We have Server 2003 enterprise which had exchange running on it Box 1
We created a new server 2008R2 running Exchange 2010 all runs fine

Active directory, DNS and DHCP are running on server 2003 and exchange is running on server 2008, however we want to move the dns, dhcp and active directory to the 2008 machine

since exchange 2003 was removed off the 2003 box we have been unable to administer the active directory users and groups 2 errors occur first one is access denied / win32 / c007000xx / exchange component

the second error on this is the MMC error

could anybody please give step by step details on how we can decommission this server and move the dns, dhcp(although not to concerned) and the active directory across please

Is the Windows server 2008 R2 DC also in the domain controllers OU as the other DCs? Is the 2008 R2 DC multihomed or in another subnet located? Did you check the event viewer for errors? Sorry the 2003 box is currently the domain controller needs to be moved to the 2008 box
