    DNS with multiple Subnets

    Hi,
I have a network that is going to be fragmented into 7 subnets. The Routing and DHCP replays will be done by an outside company. Now my question is how to I get the DNS working in this situation? The DC(Win 2008 R2) is also the DHCP and DNS Server.

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: DNS with multiple Subnets

I think that you will need to create a packet filter rule allowing UDP traffic destined to port 53 and destined to the Untangle server for the local DNS service to work. DNS service access is limited to the Internal interface by default. Check some similar kind of threads and suggestions given in same from here - DNS Resolution with Multiple Subnets
