    Windows Server 2003 Reboot Error

    Hi all,

This is the first time I've posted but i've been reading for quite some time.

I have an issue with a W2K3 server here. It reboots without warning at random intervals of the day...the stop error is as follows.

    Reason Code: 0x805000f

    Bug ID:

    Bugcheck String: 0x00000050 (0xb5f5a310, 0x00000000, 0xb8659306, 0x00000000)

    Comment: 0x00000050 (0xb5f5a310, 0x00000000, 0xb8659306, 0x00000000)

Any idea what could be the cause of this? If you need any further info please ask.

    Thanks in advance
    Kieran

Re: Windows Server 2003 Reboot Error

There is an link below which has more information on this error. The link also has an attached hotfix which can troubleshoot this error. You have to download the same and run it. This error is related to master browser and for troubleshooting stuff you can try using Error 8003. Go go Services in the Administration Panel and then click on Services. In that go in Computer Browser and then start the service by right clicking on it. STOP 0x00000027 in mrxsmb.sys error
