ADMT to transfer users and all OU containers

    Hi

I have to migrate the AD from one domain to a 'newer' replacement system.

Using the ADMT GUI is fine to migrate each OU container individually. but some of our sites have a lot of OU containers.

I have played about with the command prompt and have got it to import the users using an include file by extracting a user list from the old AD. This works fine but doesn't put the users in the OU containers.

Is there a way to set the include file to map a specific ou container to that user
    ie.
    sourcename,targetou
    userA, OU=OU 6 Base Users,OU=OU4DomainAccounts,DC=mydomain,DC=LOCAL

or is there a command which will send the user to the same ou as the source?

    ???

Hello I am not aware of this so much but still I know something regarding it. On top of the domain controller in the target domain on which ADMT installed, log in as an account of ADMT migration. Unlock the Active Directory Migration Tool, and after that click Migration Wizard User Account. Complete the Wizard for migrating user accounts using the information in Table 11.20. I hope this will help you. If you need command for this then search it on Google I am sure you will get all commands regarding to this. Thank you.
