Live Migration of Failover Cluster Node (SQL) causes cluster halt

    Hello:

I have a two node SQL 2008 cluster running in 2 2k8r2 VMs. When I live
migrate a node, I get one or more event 1135 "Cluster node 'hostname'
was removed from the active failover cluster membership". In some cases
both nodes report this regarding the partner and the cluster service halts.

Is such a configuration even expected to work? I would prefer to use
live migration of VM vs failover of SQL because of the reduced impact
(less downtime, SQL caches dont get purged).

Any insight on where to look or possible tunables would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    Joe M.

So far as I understood what was by the sentence structure is not quite so simple, you connect via RDP to the active node in order to swing this then. Especially since I can not even understand the meaning and thereby determine that tears off the RDP connection. Control the times from the third server. So connect to server A and swirl in the cluster from Cluster Manager Server B to C. To the problem while the pivoting information and data is exchanged between the nodes, which can interfere with an additional connection (your RDP).
