Re: Map remote server path....

If you're using the MS VPN client then no, not automatically, no, but you
could give them a batch file on their desktop and have them manually run it.

E.g.,

net use x: \\server\share /persistent:no
net use y: \\server\anothershare /persistent:no

Select the VPN connectoid from the dropdown and press 'save' to make it the
default connection-method. Then the VPN will be connected, and the logon
script run.

We'll have to get Geordi on it right away! :-)

Aye aye captain.....

We have Win2k3 Server 2003 that acts as a Domain Controller and a File
Server. We have some users that connects via VPN to gain access to server
shared files. Is it possible to map a shared path into a drive upon
connecting to the server via VPN?

Thanks, will try that.
