Windows Server 2003 64bit (task Scheduler not working)

I have a windows 2003 server 64 bit that is running Exchange 2007 Sp1 and the "Task Scheduler" is not working. The service starts just fine it's just when creating a task it fails to do so. I get a access denied message 0x80070005. I have checked all permissions and even at the GPO level, everything is normal. I am stuck here and need to find a solution or I will be forced to reinstall windows. Thanks for your help!

This problem seems to be very common among Windows user. I too had faced this issue in past. And after lots of searching about it on Internet i came across 1 solution. I visited the following website of Microsoft and followed the instructions as mentioned by Microsoft. When you create a scheduled task by using Task Scheduler on a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer after you install security update 841873, you may receive this error message.
