MOSS 2007 on Windows Server 2008 Standard?

Has anybody deployed this and is it possible. I seem to be running into some
issues trying to run the MOSS 2007 setup. I get this error message.

"The program is blocked due to compatibility issues."

"You must install Office SharePoint Server 2007 with the most recent service
packs. Office SharePoint Server 2007 without service packs has a known
compatibility with this version of Windows".

I also am running MS Office Enterprise 2007 with all the latest updates
including the MS Office 2007 System Service Pack1. So I did some googling
and couldn't find any documentation that says MOSS 2007 is compatible with
    Windows 2008 Server.

Your comments are most gracefully appreciated. Thanks.

Never mind. Stupid me. "If all else fails read the instructions"...........
They actually have a whole chapter on how to deploy MOSS 2007 to a Windows
    2008 Server..... duuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh.

I just deployed this scenario. I created a slipstream CD with MOSS 2007 x64
along with MOSS 07 SP1 and WSS 3.0 SP1. Both are requirements.
