setup did not find any hard disk drive..

    Hi,
I try to install windows 2003 over windows 2008. when I let it run from the
CD after copying files from CD it gives message repair or set up press
enter. I press enter and it pop up the message
"Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.
Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to
your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuration is
correct. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or
setup program. Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3."
Why it find any hard drive in the server? How can I fix it. Thanks

Do you need to add any external drivers? There is a message when
loading that says "Press F6 to Install a Third Party Driver". Perhaps
you need this driver to access your drive?

Reset the boot sector on the active boot drive (the one on which you have
the problem) with the configuration used prior Windows Vista/Windows 2008.
For this use one of the following :
.. boot with an old DOS boot diskette containing fdisk.exe and run fdisk /mbr
.. or, but I do not remember well this one, run a Microsoft tool =>
    fixmbr.exe

after that reinstall Windows 2003 from the cd.

    Good luck.
