change "product key" in Windows 2003

I've 2 Windows 2003 standard servers which were cloned to VM ESX server.
Found that after cloning, when I login, it shows the message that the Windows
needs to be activated. I tried to change the product key, but failed. Checked
in the servers in production environment, they are with OEM licence. So, I
still can't login the 2 cloned servers successfully. Please help.

Actually, I can't login Windows to reach normal screen. The key must be
changed before "Desktop" screen can be shown. Any other workaround solutions?

    Try a 'Safe Mode' boot.

    Hi, Dave,

Though followed the guideline, the problem still couldn't be fixed. Any
    workaround solutions? Thanks.

You may need to phone them to complete the activation.
