| Copying directory and file structure, while retaining permissions
I am implementing a new corporate file server, and want to migrate all user home directories and corporate file shares from their current locations on the old file server to the new server, but I want to retain their permissions so I don't have to remask the permissions on each directory once I copy everything across. Are there any good scripts for doing this, or any freeware apps that can achieve what I'm attempting? |
