First of all try connecting those pen drives in some another computer and see if they are opening properly. If yes, than your computer might have got infected with virus or malware. You should update your antivirus and run a deep scan of your system as well as those pendrives. Also connect the pendrive, open windows explorer, right click your drive, click open and delete Autorun.inf file.
I am sitting with exactly the same problem and this is my findings:
AVG anti-virus, does a scan, and it detects an autorun.inf "virus" and a 2fitri something file. Obviously one removes it as it is malicious.I have noticed that the moment this has been done, you get a problem: If you double click on any of your drives in my computer, it brings up a screen "open with". You can access the drives in all other ways but not through "my computer" with a double click.
Does anyone have a solution that could actually work?
Am sure that your system is infected with malware that spreads through the AutoRun capability of removable media. You must immediately clean all your Read/Write media such as Flash Drives otherwise it will spread to other systems as well. Also did you try rebooting your PC before you click on a drive in Explorer you actually browse said drive? If not, just do it now and post the results.
