I have been trying to download this Definition Update for Windows Defender and despite many attempts it will still not get downloaded on my machine. Can anyone please help me out or show me another way to download this update on my pc. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Well, I have seen that if you install any kind of antivirus software such as the AVG, Norton or Avast on your machine then the inbuilt windows defender gets disabled automatically. So what you can do is go to the control panel settings and then try to enable the windows defender and then try to update to the latest definition.
