Setup file Share Permissions common for all on Windows 2003

We are having a set of folders that were shared on Windows 2000 Server. The file permission was set accessible to all users. There were not obligation on accessing the file. Then we upgraded to Windows 2003 server and none of them are applicable. I cannot access any folder or get the files back from it. The file and folder are located on 2003 server but somehow the share permission is being affected. I am not able to get the old settings back on the same. What can I do to fix the same. Thanks.

You will need to reconfigure all the settings back from scratch. That is the only way you can fix the issue. I am sure it is going to help you. There are number of different articles on web that will allow you get the right settings. After upgrades all those settings are wiped out due to which you are not able to work on the same.
