XP suddenly asking for mysterious password

I had different user account on my system running windows xo home edition. However i have just deleted all of them and have kept a single one for every one. Upon reboot i got a screen different than the normal windows screen that i used to get asking for password. I entered the one i used to use as admin but it did not allowed me to pass through. Currently i have tried booting in to safe mode but it get similar window demanding password there as well. I don't know if i have messed up anything while deleting the accounts but i want to know if there is any way by which i can log in to my system again. Any help regrading this will be highly appreciated.

Try this and check out if you are getting any help.

• Restart your system F8 key,select Safe and now in the Log on to Windows dialog simply enter Administrator, leave password as blank and hit enter.
• Once you are able to logon you can go to Control Panel > User Accounts and click on "Change the way users log on or off" and uncheck "Use the Welcome screen" and "Use Fast User Switching" Options.
• Once you have made the above changes you just have to restart your system and you should be able to logon in normal mode without any issues.

I have tried following the steps you have mentioned but i am not allowed to login with blank password. As far as i am aware i had never set any password in safe mode. Is there anything else that i might try further???
