    DCOM Error

Hey guys, need urgent help from you all. Yesterday I was installing Windows XP SP3 on one of my computer. After doing the same suddenly I received the following error message:

    Event Type: Error
    Event Source: DCOM
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 10016
    Date: 09/02/2008
    Time: 2.02.47
    User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
    Computer: EDDIE

    Description:
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {DCBCA92E-7DBE-4EDA-8B7B-3AAEA4DD412B} to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

The application with ID "DCBCA92E-7DBE-4EDA-8B7B-3AAEA4DD412B" is "Quarantine Private QEC Binding class".
I thought it can be fixed by changing the security permission from Component Services administrative tool. I went there but am not able to find any application with this name. Also there is nothing with the said ID.

Can anyone of you please tell me how can I fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

    Re: DCOM Error

Alrite, just go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{DCBCA92E-7DBE-4EDA-8B7B-3AAEA4DD412B} and tell me what is listed under this entry. Is there any application listed as the in process server?

    Re: DCOM Error

Hello Dharitree, you just need to disable the Wireless Zero Configuration Service from the services.msc and the problem will be solved.
